Every Running Club requires a competitive edge to be successful, so throughout the year various club competitions are in place to spice up your running goals. On the pages contained under the heading league tables you will find up to date information on current situations and positions of NEJ's competitions.

The rules of engagement are fully explained in the Members section to the Grand Prix and both Summer and Winter handicaps. but it is important that all members understand that they are great to compete in regardless of ability as every club member has an opportunity of challenging as the grand Prix is age related and the handicaps mean you are able to race against the quicker runners within the club.

All the dates will be shown on the events page allowing you to adjust your diaries accordingly.

The great news about all three competitions is they invariably finish in a bar or hostelry often chosen by NEJ's good pub guide Mr Steve Walker.
